Is our data safe? Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes. CONVEYi is GDPR-compliant by design. Your emails and case files stay inside your own Microsoft 365 tenant — we don’t copy them to a separate portal or store your documents on our servers. Every action is logged so you have a full audit trail.
Do we have to move our files or learn a new system?
No. That’s the whole point. CONVEYi works inside Outlook, files into your existing OneDrive, and keeps every case on a live board. There’s no migration, no new login, and no “portal” to learn — if your team can use Outlook, they can use CONVEYi today.
How long does setup take?
Minutes. There’s effectively zero onboarding overhead — you add the CONVEYi add-in to Outlook and you’re working. No training day, no data import, no IT project.
Where do the case files actually live?
Each case gets its own folder in your OneDrive for its documents, and a live case record in CONVEYi for parties, key dates and outstanding tasks. You can open and edit the files like any other — CONVEYi just keeps the record current for you.
Will it send emails to clients on its own?
Only if you explicitly switch that on. By default everything is draft-only — replies land in your Drafts for a human to check and send. Automatic sending is opt-in per rule, limited to routine updates, and you can turn it off at any time.
How does £80 per case work?
There is one plan and one price. Everyone in the firm gets the whole product — the Outlook add-in, case-aware drafting, auto-triage, auto-rules, AI document packs, the OneDrive knowledge base, the case board and the team layer (workload dashboard, assignment, admin oversight). A case is charged once, the first time CONVEYi drafts a reply, reviews or generates a document, or reconciles that matter: £80 + VAT goes on that month’s invoice and that case is never charged again. Triage, matching and summaries run free on every email, so a case you never draft on costs nothing, and cases it works on before your caseload has doubled are never charged. There are no seats, no monthly fee and no tiers.
What if we don’t double our capacity?
You pay nothing until it does. Before you start we measure your firm’s capacity: a typical week across the team, never one person’s figures. CONVEYi is free until that has doubled. No lock-in either way.
Does it work with Gmail?
Not yet — CONVEYi is built for Outlook and Microsoft 365, which is where most UK conveyancing firms already work. Other platforms are on the roadmap.
